Windows 7

So the new computer is running just fine for the most part. There are a couple of things that Windows 7 does that I've got to ind a workaround, though: there's the whole problem with animated gifs, which it appears to loathe, and my scanner has developed some odd problems. The original, XP driven software for the scanner allowed me to set the scan to black and white prior to scanning, and gave a lovely clear image on bluescale, but the new drivers don't - I have to fiddle about with it in PSP, which doesn't give nearly as good a line.

The problem with gifs is that the new picture viewer point blank refuses to display animation. Opening the gif brings up Internet Explorer (urgh), and running through the images just shows still of the first frame, which is rather annoying.

I've still got to install of my favourtie fonts, as well, and find where everything is, but games are working! I should download a benchmark program as well, to show off.
