(no subject)

I have the same relationship to religion as I do to jazz- I don't understand it, can't comprehend why anyone would like it, or want any part of it. Most of the time, I can just throw up my hands, say 'Whatever', and ignore it as I get on with whatever I was doing, with the religion/jazz taking place in the background. Sometimes the occasional riff will stirke a cord with me, but then it inevtably descends into nonsense again. Most is annoying, but not worth doing anything about, but rarely, there will be a part of it so mind searingly awful the it causes physical head-pain, and I have to leave the building. These are the parts that I always remember, and colour my veiw against the whole, so I find it difficult to stomach any jazz/religion, despite the rich variety I know the subjects contain. Basically, I don't care if it takes place, as long as it happens a long way away from me.
